Deadlines Reimbursement for registration fees require pre-approval, and must be submitted to your FPG fees representative before the activity begins. Please submit your form as soon as you decide to register for the event to give your representative and the committee adequate time to process your request. The Faculty Professional Growth program has funds available to reimburse you for the registration fees you paid to attend workshops, seminars, conferences, courses, and professional meetings. Tuition for academic courses may be funded for doctoral level faculty not eligible for advancement on the salary schedule. Funding of registration fee applications is non-competitive.
Who can apply for reimbursement of registration fees?
Governing Board approved full-time and part-time
residential faculty members of the Maricopa Community Colleges at the time of the activity may apply for reimbursement.
Residential faculty are eligible to apply for reimbursement of fees and travel funds.
Registration fees reimbursement are not available to residential faculty during a Professional Unpaid Leave of Absence.
Is there a limit to the amount of reimbursement that I can apply for and receive each year?
You should apply for the actual cost of the event. Each faculty member may be funded for fees and/or travel up to the FPG funding limit of $3,500 per fiscal year through June 30th. Faculty may apply for more than one event to use the FPG funding of $3,500 per fiscal year. Permanent part-time residential faculty are eligible for registration fees/travel reimbursement in the same percentage as their contract (half-time faculty receive half the FPG benefit amount).
