The Adjunct Faculty QuickStart Course highlights important information that will prepare adjunct faculty for a successful start to their first semester teaching. The course information is tailored for adjunct faculty who are new to teaching or who may have some teaching experience, but have not been in the community college classroom before. The course content guides adjuncts on how to prepare for their first week of class. A certificate of completion is awarded via the Maricopa Employee Learn Center (ELC).

Upon hire, new adjunct faculty will receive an onboarding letter from Human Resources with a link to the QuickStart Course in Canvas. Alternatively, you can self-enroll in the course here.
