Arizona Regional OER Conference events include 2 programs that have been pre-approved for FPG.
- Program 1: OE Starter Seminar Series (“Exploring the World of Open Education”)
- Program 2: 2021 AZ Regional OER Conference, Keynotes and Keynote Workshops
Faculty applying for FPG for a session related to either program will need to complete specific FPG requirements provided in the sessions.
The conference agenda identifies the date and block of time assigned to each program.
OE Starter Seminar Series
This is another offering of the Open Maricopa / Maricopa Millions workshop series “Exploring the World of Open Education.” To receive up to 11 clock hours toward FPG non-academic advancement faculty must:
- Use your first name, last name, and College email address when accessing the sessions.
- Participate in synchronous sessions on January 29, February 3, February 4, February 5, February 12, and/or February 19
- Complete the evaluation and assessment within 24 hours of the day of the synchronous session attended, indicating that you will apply for FPG.
- Complete and submit an application for Faculty Professional Growth Non-Academic clock hours within 90 days of the last day of the event.
- Faculty can earn up to 11 clock hours by synchronously participating in all seven workshops in the series.
- Each workshop is individually applicable for either 1.25 or 1.5 clock hours of FPG.
Please note the MCLI will use the Webex Events attendance reports to verify participation time. If the name and email used to login do not match the name provided in the evaluation and assessment, attendance may not be verified

FPG hours: 2021 AZ Regional OER Conference
To receive up to 13 clock hours toward FPG non-academic advancement faculty must:

- Participate in synchronous sessions on January 29, February 5, February 12, February 19, February 26
- Complete the evaluation and assessment within 24 hours of the day of the synchronous session attended.
- Complete and submit an application for Faculty Professional Growth Non-Academic clock hours within 90 days of the last day of the event.
