Artificial Intelligence Literacy: Understanding AI, an asynchronous professional development course designed to equip community college faculty with the fundamental concepts of artificial intelligence (AI). In this professional development, participants will explore key terms such as "artificial intelligence," "machine learning," "large language model," and "neural network." The course will also explore the benefits and limitations of AI tools, equipping students to recognize when and how AI can be applied effectively. The course aims to foster an ethically and safe AI-enriched learning environment that engages students and supports their academic success.
