Maricopa Innovates! Help us build a culture of innovation, regardless of where you sit within the organization. Are you curious about the power of Design Thinking? Join us for a fun and interactive workshop where you'll dive into the world of co-created design! Inspired by the work of Rio Salado’s Innovation Think Tank and the emerging interest in a Systemwide Innovation Think Tank, this hands-on session (yes, includes a Creativity Box!) will provide participants with the opportunity to discover tools that will transform their classes and meetings—whether they're in-person or live online. These tools include:
- Empathy Mapping
- Journey Mapping
- Ideation Tools
During this workshop, participants will receive an overview of the laser cutting tools and processes available at Phoenix Forge. Participants will be guided through an example project that includes an MCLI/Phoenix Forge Box. Participants will also be provided with information about Phoenix Forge membership, additional classes open to the community, and all making equipment including but not limited to 3D printing, laser cutters, metal shop, wood shop, jewelry making, and industrial sewing.
No making experience is needed.
